Coming from a background in pedigree cattle breeding and running pedigree herds of Simmentals, Limousins, Charolais and Aberdeen-Angus alongside my husband Garrett, my journey in to website design actually began while I was studying in 2003.
After leaving college having studied media and journalism, I gradually built up a small client base among Irish pedigree breeders and breed societies and continued to build a client base alongside full time work.
In 2008 I was approached by Chrissie Long of the UK-based agricultural PR and marketing company Mooandbaa.com who believed there was significant scope in the UK market for our combined services.
This informal working relationship has since gone from strength to strength, with numerous breeders and breed societies having their websites developed through us over the following years.
As a result of the success of our working relationship and the strong business we have built since then, I have been working exclusively on websites, graphic design and promotion for the livestock sector since 2010 and now only work with new clients in association with Mooandbaa.com, while also retaining a number of my original Irish clients.
Alongside my love of website design and all things livestock marketing related, I still love to work with the pedigree cattle with my husband and enjoy exhibiting at shows.
